Tag: gold oval
Tail: GP Crest
Butt: 4or5 black goose fibers twisted and wound around to form the butt.
Body: 2/3 copper flat tinsel 1/3 black angora dubbing
Rib: gold oval
Body: hackle black spey hackle. I used whiting spey hackle
Throat: Guinea
Wing: black goose
Cheek: Jungle cock
Thread: Black 6/0

Purple Wet Fly
There has been two monthly challenges posted on spey pages and this is the first pattern that Marty Howard did a step by step. This was my late entry into the fray.
Hook: Daiichi Alec Jackson size 1.5 shown
Thread: Purple 6/0
Tag: Small flat silver tinsel
Tail: Golden Pheasant tippet in strands
Body: first 1/3 hot pink floss followed by purple dubbing
Rib: Medium silver oval tinsel
Collar: Purple hackle
Under wing: 4 strands of flash
Wing: White calf tail (Polar Bear is shown)
